It is time again
to make your reservation
for
the 38th Annual Humpa Picnic.
(See Details Below)

SAME OLD PARK WITH A BRAND NEW TWIST. The Pavilion has been rebuilt due to the roof collapse during the winter. The fireplace is now on one side of the building rather than in the center. I believe this will be a real improvement, allowing us to see, hear and occupy the space to our advantage. The tables are also new. So we will have same size and height for all and the smooth surface will be easy to clean. The new tables are not as strong as the old, but certainly more aesthetic.
As usual, the Connecticut Valley Chapter will provide wursts, hamburgers, hotdogs, rolls, bread, condiments, beverages, paper goods and serving tools. YOU SUPPLY THE SALADS AND DESSERTS. You tell us what you want to bring and we balance to have variety and ample supply. You have been super cooks in the past and I’m sure will be this year as well. Barbara will make a vat of Kraut, John Fauts usually brings exotic Cole slaw, hopefully the Baszturas will bring spaetzel. We hope Bruce Zepke will bring us German music again. Traditionally Tony’s Imported Auto Service provides the Oktoberfest Bier. The Rest Is Up To YOU.
Door prizes from Your CVC, Detail Best, Performance Automotive and New Country BMW are expected. This picnic is free to members and guests, but we encourage you to make a $5.00 contribution to our Club Charity, CT ALS in memory of our past member Marshall Wilson.
The Humpa is very much like a homecoming for many of us. Why not make it part of your BMW tradition, too?
